50 Cent once bought 200 Ja Rule concert tickets in order to leave the show sad and empty
There is no one more deliciously and proudly petty than 50 Cent, particularly when it comes to his long-running feud with Ja Rule.
In the latest phase, 50 Cent trolled his fellow rapper by purchasing 200 tickets in the front rows of a November 9th show in Texas, planning to leave the venue gallingly empty. It’s an epic troll that ran him a mere $3,000.
50 declared the news on Instagram, with a picture of a mostly empty concert venue in which he Photoshopped himself sitting in the front, laughing.
His caption: “What a show, I mean just f–king great. Do it again my kid went to the restroom. LOL.” He commented below, “I just bought 200 seats in the front so they can be empty. LOL.”
Ja didn’t seem very fazed, tweeting shortly after, “I get under @50cent skin… I love it!!! #iconn”
A few days later, Ja posted since deleted images of 50 to his Instagram, with makeup and wigs photoshopped on to his face.
The pair have been fighting since the late 90’s, when a friend of 50 Cent’s robbed Ja Rule at gunpoint in Queens, stealing his chain — or at least that’s 50’s version. Ja has long claimed their beef didn’t start with a stolen chain, but after a fight broke out during a video shoot.
They have been embroiled in several fights, stabbings and diss tracks in the two decades since, include sharing the same flight in 2013 but facing “no problems!!! #grownmanshit”, as Ja tweeted.
Not for long, evidently.
