The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has announced the unsealing of its National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, and Legacy House in Maitama by the Nigeria Police Force, following compliance with duly issued court orders.

According to a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Jungudo Haruna Mohammed, the facilities have been officially handed over to the National Chairman, Abdulrahman Mohammed Takushara, and National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu.

The PDP commended the Nigeria Police Force for its professionalism and adherence to the rule of law, describing the action as “a clear demonstration of respect for constitutional order and due process.”

The party, however, issued a stern warning that it “will not condone any act capable of causing obstruction, disruption, or breach of peace at the secretariat again.”

It also called on aggrieved members to sheath their swords and embrace unity in the collective interest of the party.

The statement further expressed appreciation to party leaders and stakeholders for their steadfast support, particularly acknowledging the guidance and commitment of its National Leader, Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
