Nelson Ogbu has officially picked his nomination form to contest for the Ado State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
Ogbu disclosed this in a statement on Monday, saying the nomination form was obtained at the ADC State Secretariat in Makurdi in line with the party’s guidelines and requirements.
According to him, the occasion was attended by party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members from Ado Local Government Area who showed solidarity and support for his ambition.
“Today, in line with the requirements and guidelines of our great party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), I officially picked my nomination form to contest for the Ado State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly at the ADC State Secretariat in Makurdi,” he said.
“The occasion witnessed the presence of party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members from Ado Local Government Area who came out in solidarity and support of our shared vision for quality representation and grassroots-oriented leadership.”
He appreciated party leaders, stakeholders, and members of the ADC executive committee in Ado Local Government for their support and confidence in his aspiration.
“I remain committed to the ideals of quality service, inclusive leadership, youth empowerment, and people-centered representation as we continue this journey together,” Ogbu added.
