Adazi-Nnukwu Residents and Worshippers at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Adazi-Nnukwu jubilate as Senator Victor Umeh fulfils promise of delivering and installing a Transformer Sub-station at Amata, Adazi-Nnukwu, ending about six months lack of electricity as well as provision of Solar-Powered Street Lights At Adazi-Nnukwu Civic Centre to luminate the area ahead of the yuletide.

Matching his words with actions, residents of Adazi-Nnukwu and worshippers at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church were filled with joy witnessing the delivery of the promised 300KVA Transformer few days after they cried out and appealed to the Senator for his intervention.

The Transformer is expected to serve parts of Amata Clan of Adazi-Nnukwu and St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Adazi-Nnukwu which according to the Priest, has spent lots of money on purchase of diesel to power the Church.

Again, the joy of ndị Adazi-Nnukwu is palpable as Senator Victor Umeh has commenced supply and installation of Solar-Powered Street Lights to fully luminate Adazi-Nnukwu Civic Centre and other strategic locations in Adazi-Nnukwu.

These projects are only additions to his other projects in Adazi-Nnukwu such as:

  1. Construction of Solar-Powered Borehole at Umuchime Hall, already completed and serving the water needs of the people around Orofolo village, Adazi-Nnukwu,
  2. Construction of Primary Health Centre at Adazi-Nnukwu Ward II,
  3. Completion of the Refectory and ICT Center at Bubendorff Memorial Grammar School (BMGS), Adazi-Nnukwu
  4. Rehabilitation of Adazi-Nnukwu – Agulu – Aguluzigbo Road (through St. Andrew’s Catholic Church – St. Joseph’s Hospital)

However, these are not all, the numerous transformative projects towards the remodeling of BMGS Adazi-Nnukwu, his projects and contributions to Loretto Special Science School Adazi-Nnukwu, his contributions to remodeling of Adazi-Nnukwu Town Hall, etc. are great testaments of his benevolence towards the Adazi-Nnukwu Community.

Nonetheless, his unrivaled investment in human capacity development through Education Empowerment is not lacking in Adazi-Nnukwu. The Victor Umeh Education Foundation (VUMEF) which he is the sole sponsor has produced up to four graduates in Adazi-Nnukwu and there are five Adazi-Nnukwu students who are currently among the beneficiaries of the Anambra Central Scholarship Programme of Senator Umeh.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES: Senator Umeh has facilitated the employment of five Adazi-Nnukwu indigenes into lucrative pensionable jobs.

“Dear Senator Victor Umeh (Nwannedinamba Adazi-Nnukwu), ndị Adazi-Nnukwu are saying “THANK YOU” for your benevolence towards Adazi-Nnukwu Town!

“Your good works speaks volumes in Adazi-Nnukwu and across Anambra Central”.
