Yesterday, I returned to my immediate community of Apa-Agila, where I was warmly received by my extended family and clan members in a special gathering to formally seek their blessings and support as I embark on the journey to represent Ado State Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly.
In a deeply encouraging show of love, confidence and solidarity, my family members described me as one of the finest products of the family, expressing pride in my journey, character and commitment to service. They unanimously offered their prayers and blessings, giving me their full support and formally releasing me to pursue the mandate ahead with their goodwill and confidence.
The occasion was further strengthened by the presence of the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the ADC, Barr. Abba John Abba, alongside prominent political leaders and stakeholders from various districts of Ado Local Government Area, whose presence underscored the growing unity and collective commitment to the journey ahead.
On the same day, I also hosted the entire executive members of my council ward. It was a memorable gathering characterised by warmth, enthusiasm and a profound sense of belonging. The ward executives expressed their pride in my candidacy, reaffirming their confidence in my capacity, leadership qualities and ability to deliver purposeful and impactful representation.
These engagements are deeply significant to me. They represent more than political endorsements; they are a powerful reminder of the trust, expectations and responsibilities that come with seeking public office.
I remain humbled by the confidence reposed in me and firmly committed to justifying that confidence through character, integrity, accessibility and measurable service to our people.
The journey ahead is a collective one, and together, we shall make Ado’s transformation a reality.
