…Says opposition crisis is self-inflicted, not externally driven
The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has criticised the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing it as “an assembly of Nigeria’s most confused and desperate politicians” and accusing it of spreading unfounded conspiracy theories about the ruling party.
In a press statement issued in the FCT on April 2, Mr Morka said the ADC “has distinguished itself as a peddler of rabid conspiracy theories about what the All Progressives Congress (APC) is or is not doing to undermine the party,” dismissing any suggestion that the APC is responsible for the opposition party’s internal challenges.
He further questioned the foundation of the ADC, stating, “The ADC is a party that never was. By design, it was a kamikaze contraption with a ‘follow-come’ self-destructive detonator.”
According to him, the current situation within the ADC is inevitable, insisting that “it had to unravel and now unraveling fast by installment,” while maintaining that the party is solely responsible for its own political fate.
