The Senate on Thursday screened Hajiya Amina Ibrahim Gamawa following her nomination by Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Commissioner of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) representing Bauchi State.
During the exercise, presided over by Augustine Akobundu, Gamawa was accorded the privilege to “take a bow” in recognition of her service record. The motion was moved by Orji Uzor Kalu and seconded by Sani Musa.
All three Bauchi senators—Abdul Ningi, Shehu Buba, and Sani Musa—were present at the screening in a show of support.
Before her nomination, Hajiya Amina Gamawa served as Deputy Director, Administration (Presidential Liaison) of the All Progressives Congress, where she coordinated administrative processes and maintained liaison between the party’s National Secretariat and the Presidency.
