A political storm is brewing online after Daniel Bwala unleashed a scathing attack on Peter Obi and his coalition, accusing them of desperation, deception, and what he called “political banditry.”

“Desperate people do desperate things,” Bwala wrote, dismissing the coalition as lacking “any clear vision or alternative for Nigeria,” adding that “nobody reckons with them.”

He alleged that attempts to manufacture momentum through “fake news CSO, fake TV anchors, fake movement of irrational and double standards Obidient” had failed, insisting that “anything fake hardly last.”

Bwala further accused the group of escalating tactics, claiming they are “now resorted to blackmailing Nigeria and the Nigerian people in the eyes of the international community,” allegedly to trigger “hard and harsh treatment” that could pressure voters.

“That’s political banditry,” he declared.

In a final swipe, he questioned the coalition’s credibility as an opposition force, asking: “Can a people who invade a political party in a gestapo manner, take over the party structures by force and abduction the party, actually build opposition?”

The tweet has since ignited heated reactions across social media, with supporters and critics clashing over the claims and the future of Nigeria’s political landscape.
